Activated Carbon Filter (ACF)
Activated carbon adsorption units are primarily designed to treat various organic and inorganic pollutants—including benzene, ketones, alcohols, ether, alkane, mixed organic waste gases, as well as acidic and alkaline exhaust gases. They are suitable for the purification of harmful exhaust gases generated in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, chemicals, machinery, electronics, electrical appliances, coating, footwear, rubber, plastics, and printing, as well as for environmental applications involving desulfurization and deodorization in various industrial production workshops.
Get QuoteSystem Overview:
1)System Introduction
Driven by a fan, the waste gas enters the adsorption unit under negative pressure and flows into the activated carbon adsorption layer. Due to the presence of unbalanced and unsaturated molecular attractive forces or chemical bonding forces on the surface of the activated carbon, gas molecules are attracted, concentrated, and retained on the surface upon contact—a phenomenon known as adsorption.
2)System Principles
By leveraging the surface adsorption capacity of the activated carbon, the waste gas is brought into contact with the highly porous adsorbent material. Pollutants within the waste gas are adsorbed onto the activated carbon surface, thereby separating them from the gas mixture, after which the purified gas is discharged at a high altitude.
